ReplyDeleteI have quite a few problems with this film, but let me begin fairly: I am not very emotionally attached to the Marvel universe anymore. I'm glad people are, and if you enjoyed the last two Avengers then you'll probably have fun and you can ignore all this. But ultimately the same issues that cause me to dislike this film are at the heart of why I find the Marvel universe so boring.
First, the things it does well: Humor, as with pretty much all Marvel films lately. Then there's the ensemble cast. The only real draw of the film is that it can be fun to see the characters who have been previously fleshed out interacting and playing off one another. (Although it's the smaller battles that end up featuring the more interesting uses of their powers together).
